Neusignal Therapeutics Completes Series B Financing to Advance Alzheimer’s Disease Program NTX-083

Neusignal Therapeutics, a clinical stage neuroscience biotechnology company developing therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease, has completed a JPY 5.32B Series B financing (approximately USD 36M), including investment from new and existing investors and a grant from AMED’s Drug Discovery Venture Ecosystem Enhancement Project. Proceeds from the Series B will support the Phase 1b clinical trial of NTX-083 in patients with Alzheimer’s disease in the United States later this year. Following trial initiation, Neusignal plans to expand its team as it advances clinical development and prepares for potential strategic partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies. New investors in the round included Angel Bridge and DCI Partners as co-lead investors, as well as Nissay Capital, Red Capital, and Gogin Capital. Existing investors included Fast Track Initiative, Inc. (FTI), Keio Innovation Initiative, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, SMBC Venture Capital, FFG Venture Business Partners, and Nippon Venture Capital. Makoto Takeuchi, Executive Vice President at FTI, commented: “Since our creation and initial investment in Neusignal Therapeutics, we have continued to support the development of NTX-083, the company’s lead pipeline program.
