Fast Track Initiative Releases A New Corporate Website
Fast Track Initiative, Inc. (FTI), a healthcare venture capital firm investing at the intersection of science, technology, and medicine, today released a new corporate website.
Connecting Discovery to Healthcare
Since its founding in 2004, FTI has worked to bring promising science and technology into new forms of healthcare. Today, FTI operates across three locations in Japan and the United States, manages four funds with approximately JPY 43.5 billion in assets under management, and has invested in 47 companies, including 18 from the company formation or seed stage.
Through 22 years of investing, FTI has seen that breakthrough science alone does not become new medicine. Scientific expertise, entrepreneurial leadership, technology, networks, and capital must come together to translate discoveries into healthcare and create meaningful impact.
The new brand introduces the Strand Mark, a symbol of two strands coming together, inspired by both the traditional Japanese shimenawa and the double helix of DNA. One strand represents the possibilities created by science, while the other represents the global resources and capabilities needed to bring those possibilities to society. Together, they symbolize FTI’s role in connecting research with society, Japan with the world, and scientific ambition with the resources needed to bring it to life.
A New Chapter, Built on the Same Foundation
The rebrand builds on FTI’s longstanding purpose of “Capital for Life”, now expressed through the broader commitment to “Bringing the world’s strengths together for life.” FTI will continue to bring together capital, expertise, experience, and global networks to help healthcare innovations move from discovery toward real-world impact.

A Unified Global Identity
As part of the rebrand, FTI has renewed its website at fti.vc and unified its email addresses under the @fti.vc domain. The new platform will showcase FTI’s portfolio companies, team, healthcare and social impact, and news and interviews related to its investment activities.
